Why the Netherlands?
Holland discovers, explores and dives in at the deep end. We’ve been doing this for centuries. Cooperation became an important value during our battle against the water. Because we want to advance. And because we believe change doesn’t happen by itself. Just look at how we’re growing and progressing. Proud as we are of this knowledge and experience and its value for others, we describe the routes we are already taking. How the uniqueness of smart and clean mobility has become commonplace for us.

Mission Zero
Five values are central to the transition to Zero Emission in the Netherlands. Together they constitute the foundations of the Dutch electric transport sector.

  1. Know how Share knowledge. Everyone you meet knows something you don’t.
Knowledge is essential for accelerating technological innovations in the e-Mobility sector. Therefore the Dutch automotive sector is driven by knowledge and innovation supported by our leading universities and research institutes.
  2. Infrastructure Encourage easy use. Your customer drives your innovation.
In the Netherlands research institutions, universities, government bodies, network managers and market forces are collaborating. As a result, the Netherlands is Europe’s leading player in the roll-out of charging infrastructure.
  3. Energy Transition Support entrepreneurship. Business gives power to the possible.
Innovation and public-private partnerships are key to the Dutch approach. Entrepreneurs and researchers developing sustainable projects related to energy, mobility, climate and the environment. Discover what surprising solutions this leads to at the pavilion.
  4. Mobility concepts Connect sciences. Interdisciplinary thinking makes good ideas better.
it is focusing closely on the development and roll-out of new types of services in terms of vehicles, charging infrastructure and components. Prominent themes are car sharing, private lease and the introduction of renewable, sustainable city distribution concepts.
  5. Industry Commit to zero emission. Transition starts with ambition.
The Dutch electric transport sector comprises a wide range of start-ups, established SMEs and a number of internationally operating OEMs. They often develop pioneering and high-quality vehicles, components and services. See it for yourself at the Dutch stand.
